OUR VISION is to see every people have the opportunity to know and follow Jesus Christ, and every believer equipped and mobilized to fulfill the Great Commission, from our local communities to unreached people groups among the nations.
OUR MISSION is to equip believers, multiply leaders, and mobilize followers of Jesus to fulfill the Great Commission through Gospel proclamation, disciple-making, leadership development, and partnering with the Body of Christ in serving locally and globally.
Starting from where we are: Mobilizing, training, and encouraging people to seek Jesus and listen to His voice, so they may fully live out their calling where they are, using their gifts and talents for the expansion of the Kingdom of God and the fulfillment of the Great Commission, with a focus on the least-reached peoples and places with little Christian presence.
Building Bridges: Building healthy relationships and strategic partnerships among individuals, churches, and ministries, connecting the Body of Christ and creating pathways for believers to participate in God’s mission through short, medium, and long-term opportunities.
Going: Going where God leads by joining and sending teams to places with little Christian presence and among unreached peoples through short, medium, and long-term mission opportunities. We are not bound by a specific method, but remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, seeking creative ways to build relationships, serve communities, and establish a lasting Gospel presence in these places.
Supporting local churches: Partnering with local churches to proclaim the Gospel within their communities and neighborhoods. Through creative cultural engagement, we seek to bring the message of Jesus to urban centers, communities, and large gatherings in relevant and impactful ways.
Evangelism in schools: Engaging public and private schools through creative arts, educational presentations, and personal testimonies, promoting the value of life while sharing the hope of the Gospel with grace, wisdom, and respect.
Going as teams: Sending teams to countries and regions with little Christian presence to participate in evangelistic outreaches, leadership training, discipleship, and partnership with the local Church.
We are committed to providing trainings, seminars, and workshops that equip believers to understand and embrace the two complementary dimensions of the Great Commission: making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28) and proclaiming the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16). Our goal is to prepare and encourage every believer to actively participate in God’s mission wherever they are, using their gifts, talents, and calling. These trainings may take place in YWAM bases, partner mission organizations, local churches, public spaces, and other environments where God opens doors.
We are committed to encouraging every believer to understand their calling and make disciples within the sphere of society where God has placed them. We recognize that there are seven spheres of influence that shape society—Religion, Government, Business, Education, Arts and Entertainment, Family, and Media—and that God calls believers to be faithful disciples and Kingdom representatives within these areas. We seek to equip believers to develop and apply biblical principles within the environments where God has called them to live and work, demonstrating the values of His Kingdom through their vocation and influence. Every follower of Jesus has a unique part to play in the fulfillment of the Great Commission, and we are committed to encouraging and equipping those God sends to us to faithfully live out their calling with grace, wisdom, and purpose.
We reaffirm the Manila Covenant of 1988 and God’s calling upon our mission to prioritize those who have not yet been reached with the Gospel. We commit ourselves to the mobilization, training, and sending of workers who will carry the message of Jesus to every sphere of society and every people group. We embrace the nine frontiers of world evangelism identified in the Manila Covenant—the Muslim world, Buddhist world, Communist world, Hindu world, the Small Half (children), Nominal Christians, the Cities, the Poor and Needy, and Tribal Peoples—as strategic areas where we desire to see God’s Kingdom advanced and the Great Commission fulfilled.
The name ZOE comes from Greek and means “life,” but not merely the common, physical life we know (bio = Greek).
John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life (zōē), and have it in abundance.”
Zōē (ζωή) = full, spiritual, and eternal life, the life that comes from God
Bíos (βίος) = biological life, natural existence
In the Gospel of John 10:10, Jesus says: “I have come that they may have life (zōē), and have it in abundance.” Here, He is talking about an abundant spiritual life, restored and aligned with the purpose of the Kingdom. This abundant life is not simply about existing, but about living in a full, transformative, and extraordinary way.
The name ZOE was chosen because it expresses the desire for the ministry to be a place where people experience true life – the life that only Jesus offers: A life full of purpose and joy. A life marked by healing, freedom, and restoration. A life that impacts the world, reflecting the abundance of the Kingdom of God. There is a calling not only to live this life, but also to share it, reflecting the Kingdom of God in everything that is done.
Why We Operate as a Collaborative Ministry? COLLAB
We believe that no single person, ministry, or organization can fulfill the Great Commission alone. God has uniquely gifted His people with different callings, perspectives, and strengths, and it is through unity that the Church most fully reflects Christ.
As a collaborative ministry within YWAM, our purpose is to build bridges between ministries, leaders, and communities, creating opportunities to serve together rather than separately. Collaboration allows every gift, every expression of creativity, and every calling to contribute toward God’s mission. When people of different ages, nationalities, cultures, backgrounds, and experiences come together with one purpose – to make Jesus known – the Great Commission is carried out in a richer and more powerful way.
We are stronger together than we could ever be on our own. Our role is not to replace what others are doing, but to connect, encourage, and collaborate so that, united as one Body, we can see the nations reached with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.
